IPhone 6 constantly shutting down

For several months now my iphone 6 continues to shutdown. It shuts completely off then shows the battery image like the battery is dead even though it has a 80-100% charge on it! I've taking it in the Apple Store twice and had the online apple engineers look at it and no one seems to have a clue what's happening. They all agree that my battery is perfectly fine. Phone is less than 2 yrs old!! I have spoken with a few others who are experiencing the same issue with no resolution. In order for my phone to not shut down I have to constantly keep it hooked to the charger. Is anyone else having this problem?

Did you or the people at the Apple Store set the phone back to factory settings, without using any backup and see if it still shuts down?

Hey Ingo2711 yes completely reset as a new phone and did not restore from backup. As soon as I turned it back on and and started to looked through the phone it shut completely down again. This is really annoying and apple has been no help

Sorry, but if the battery seems to be working correctly, some other part of the hardware is broken, and the phone might have to be replaced by Apple. Unfortunately your device seems not to be covered by the warrant anymore.

This would mean that you'll have to pay the reduced price for the Out-of-Warranty replacement.
